CAMP

Bridge Valley camp was really fun! We did, abseiling, aqua tramp, kayaking and lots of  other activities.My favourite activity was low ropes. It was fun and I was good at it.

All Wired Up!

In room 3 we have been learning about circuits. After lots of experimenting our teacher told us to make a project using circuits. So me and my best friend Holly decided to make a skeleton robot. After a while me and Holly decided not to make a robot skeleton and to make it just a normal robot. So Holly and me took some paper and one small card board box and one big thin card board box and stuck paper all over the boxes. After that we drew all over the paper and on the small box we cut holes for the eyes and the mouth. Then we made arms and decided it was a bird and made a beak. I had a great time at the display  everyone liked our rich task.We used series circuits in our rich task. It was fun.

Watching in the dark

It was a windy night in Africa. One man Stayed awake to watch the camp. He watched the forest with a torch lamp beside him. Suddenly the torch went out. Two blazing eyes were watching him. He was still. He heard a soft growl coming from the animal. All of a sudden someone came out of the tent and turned the torch on. The animal was gone. The man that turned the torch on said "It's my turn". So the  man that was watching in the dark went back to his tent and fell asleep.
Authors note
A african man in a dream told me this story about watching  a camp at night. I woke to with a start from this amazing dream. A few months later I decided to start writing. I decided to name my peice of work Watching in the dark.
